Bamboo isn’t decoration on a label. It’s the reason the plate is warm to the touch, quiet against the table, and good-looking enough to stay there when guests arrive.
It grows faster than we use it
One of the fastest growing plants on earth and a renewable resource. Ours grows without fertilisers or pesticides, and captures carbon as it does.
Safe for your child
Coated with an FDA approved natural lacquer for food contact surfaces. No BPA, no chemicals. Every piece is checked by hand in Slovenia.
It stays on the table
The removable silicone suction base grips any firm, smooth surface. The plate stays where you put it, even when your child pushes.

Why not plastic
A plastic plate is easier to make and cheaper, but your child hears it. It rings against the table, it scratches within months, and food gets stuck in the scratches.
Bamboo is denser and quieter. It doesn’t take on food smells, doesn’t stain from carrot or blueberries, and after a year it still looks new — if you rub it with oil once a month.
Bamboo
- Renewable, grown in three to five years
- Natural material, warm and quiet to the touch
- Doesn’t hold smells or stain
- At the end of its life the bamboo part is still natural material
Plastic
- Made from oil, takes centuries to break down
- Loud against the table, scratches quickly
- Food residue collects in the scratches
- Often contains additives you don’t want near food
Honestly, about biodegradability
Our products are environmentally friendly, safe, durable and in some cases biodegradable. The bamboo part is natural material. The silicone base is not biodegradable — but it lasts for years, which matters more environmentally than breaking down quickly.
We would rather say how it is than promise something the product doesn’t deliver.
